Ранние годы

Ниньо родился 1 мая 1940 года[1] в Тарлаке[2] (Центральный Лусон[3]), в семье профессионального фотографа. В юности он некоторое время учился на медицинском факультете в Университете Манилы, но ушёл оттуда в 1959 году, чтобы воплотить свою детскую мечту стать художником комиксов[4].
